For all of you who think that you know what the quote above means, see here. I have to confess that in my ignorance I didn't even know about Israel Zangwill. Just that there is a slogan used by ultra right to justify something without a second thought and by ultra-left to bash the ultra-right on the noggin, without any discernible effect.
